The Seventh Art developed an imaginative brand architecture for the entire resort, including naming, as well as hotel, restaurant, spa, retail, and bungalow branding design. The branding set a new elevated tone for this renowned adventure destination, highlighting a profound connection to nature, people and heritage.

The agency was engaged in placemaking and programming that emphasized the local culture, while the addition of Kuilima Farm introduced the opportunity for on-site learning and community involvement.

Reflecting the transformation of the Meatpacking District from an industrial district into a vibrant, popular pedestrian and tourist-friendly destination, a nucleus of Manhattan nightlife, high-end dining, shopping and hospitality, The Seventh Art created brand collateral that does not lose sight of the district’s heritage and draws on its history as a founding element.

The Seventh Art created a comprehensive brand identity for Carolina Yards, which embodies authenticity, warmth, texture and connection. From positioning that emphasizes emotional connection to the brandmark, inspired by the project’s architecture and color palette that is both vibrant and warm, influenced by lifestyle and environment.

As the project is mixed-use, with various residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and market components, the brand identity developed by The Seventh Art’s comprises a comprehensive brand hierarchy, which allows all sub-brands to be recognizable as unique, yet coherent and consistent with the main brand. The brand hierarchy also ensures that sub-brands can evolve and be flexible, while maintaining the original spirited look and feel of the main brand.
